FAQ
How much does it cost?
Our prices start at £30pp incl. for your own personal wine tasting with a minimum of 10 attending, but we are always flexible to suit. We'll create a unique event to suit your budget and preferences. All our tastings are tailor-made. Why not give us a call, or send an e-mail to discuss ‘your’ wine tasting?
I am interested in wine and want to learn more, but don’t want a formal classroom style wine tasting.
Don’t worry! We don’t do stuffy ‘wine-speak’ lectures. Our wine tastings are relaxed, informal, light-hearted and highly entertaining with the emphasis on having fun while learning a little bit about wine. However would be delighted to host a more formal style of event if preferred.
What do I need to provide for my tasting?
Our Wine-Workers supply everything from professional ISO tasting glasses, spittoons (if required, that is), all written material & tasting notes, drop-stops and illustrative material. And of course, a range of fantastic wines! All you need do is sit back and enjoy!
How many guests can I have?
Any number of guests from a minimum of 10 up to 100+. We do have to make a minimum charge based on 10 people attending, but we remain flexible. We can cater for corporate functions with numbers from 30 to 100+ with ease.
How long does a tasting last?
Usually up to 2 hours, but we will fit to your timings.
How many wines do I taste?
Eight high quality wines are usually tasted at a Private Event. Call us for more information regarding a Corporate Event.
Do you go anywhere?
We come to you, wherever that may be…..your home, office, a hotel, a restaurant or any other venue. Just let us know. We have even ventured abroad!
How do I know that your wines are good quality?
We have negotiated an exclusive arrangement with Liberty Wines, one of the UK’s top Award Winning Wine Importers allowing us unique access to their entire range of fantastic and delicious wines which offer a great value for money!
What about a ‘sales pitch’?
There is NO sales pitch, as our job is to entertain you with wine, not to sell wine. However, as most of our wines are not generally available on the High Street you can buy them from our e-shoppe. Speak to your Wine-Worker on the day.
What about your consultants? What experience do they have?
All our Wine-Workers are vastly experienced in conducting entertaining & engaging wine tastings. Collectively they have hosted over 1000 events in the last 5 years and have decades of experience! They are all WSET qualified to Diploma level and bring their own personal approach to the events. In fact, Alex actually passed the rigorous Master of Wine tasting examination at his first attempt, so we are extremely confident in his abilities.
